To those who say the nooses were just a prank, perhaps they should review the history of this country and the south. Would they feel the same if a cross was burned in the front yard of some black kids - ALL FOR SITTING UNDER A TREE!!! And, for those who say that there is no connection between the nooses and the fight, well they are being selectively naieve and it requires the willing suspension of disbelief

If 6 whites beat up one black kid I would expect them to get jail time - NOT FRICKIN 20 YEARS!! This is grossly excessive, and people must pay attention to the events leading up to this fight - does that mean the black kids should get off free? Hell no, there is plenty of blame to go around in this case and the real sadness comes from the fact that the adults in this situation either don't care or are to incompetent realize the malfeasance of all involved
