Ok, let's break up the seriousness for just a second with some funny.
While scanning stations in the car today, one of the classics from the 70's hit my ears. Sometimes When We Touch by Dan Hill. I remember this song when I was 6 or 7 and even then I knew that Dan Hill was a big 'ole pile of sappy sissy boy. (political correctness alert!) Seriously, do women really want a dood like this:
Really Dan? Wow. I hope that if I ever talk to my wife in THIS way, she smacks the fear out of me and saves us both from waiting till it subsides. I can be sweet with my lady, but I'll be Dan Hilled if I turn into a Jello Pudding Pop. Ok, I'm gonna go listen to "Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel now.And sometimes when we touch
The honesty's too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide
O wanna hold you till I die
Till we both break down and cry
I wanna hold you till the fear in me subsides
This is one of my favorites, Rich! I think Alter'd State should do this song, what do you think? :> Ha!

Actually, I think the song was written about Hill's somewhat rocky relationship with his grandfather.
You write good stuff.

I sang a quip of this song to Derek today to see what his reaction would be. He fell to his knees holding his chest, gestering to cover his eyes in some parts of the song as he sang along with me for the pure CHEESE of it all!
