I was pleasantly surprised to find you can use a regular old two button scroll wheel mouse with a Mac and that it even adds a right click menu when using that button. That may be sacrilege for diehard Mac users, but I sure do like having the added function. And the scroll wheel works. I bought an Apple Mighty Mouse as well and find it to be a good tool as well.
So far I totally see why Mac lovers love their toys. I found my new machine to be easy to use, fast, and just plain fun. Garageband is exactly what I have been needing to get a Podcast off the ground.
I am missing my Windows Live Writer for blogging, but I am trying Ecto right now and think it may be a good alternative.
I'll keep you updated on what my buddy Chris calls my "new girlfriend".

As an official member of the Mac family, please note that your arrogance chip 2.0 is in the mail. When it arrives, just sit back gaze into your Mac's eye, and think of all those poor losers who are mindlessly clicking away at their typewriter with a tv hooked up to it...and just let the force take you away.
Welcome!

I've never understood why Apple sticks with the "uni-mouse" as their standard mouse when OSX supports a two-button mouse.

So many surprises to be discovered on a mac... :)

Technically the Mighty Mouse is a 2 button mouse, but anyway... Apple Macs, in my opinion, are far more elegant, user friendly, and down right cool, compared to the ole PC. I use a Macbook Pro for my church's Media Ministry.
...If I could only afford one for myself...sigh!

Eric,
Indeed. I just figured out last night how to enable right click on the MM. Thanks for the mention.
