Let's stir the pot here and get some folks all hot and bothered. I am working on a post that attempts to answer the questions above. Before I do, I want you to drop in your thoughts first. I am sure there will be a ton of comments (hardy har har har) so get yours in quick!
Should we even be discussing "church" and "economy" in the same sentence?

Yeah, I'd agree with that. I don't know, sometimes I feel as if I'm a closet socialist, but I know I'm not really. I guess ideally, the church should be---well, communist, but that's not the right word. I think of Acts 4:32: "All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had." Maybe not communism, just proper, Biblical community.
