It's one of those times...

I had a weekend that started off very busy with a show on Friday night and turned very lazy yesterday and has stayed that way. The two days downtime has been nice though. But I notice that during these times I haven't much to say here on the blog. So I thought I'd give you some updates.

The started school on Monday and they got through the week with no problems. We have three of four in school now and little man is only a couple of years away. It will be weird having no toddlers in the house. We've pretty much spent the last 7 years having at least one.

We're still on track for a getaway in the next couple of months. We've had a gracious offer from our church for a 'warm up' at a place here locally, overnight, with the kids already taken care of. Depending on what happens with the Asheville trip, we may just take advantage of it.

We played the VFW here in Kingsport again on Friday night and had about 150 folks in there. We had a blast and by the looks of the dance floor all night long, so did the patrons. We broke in our new drummer and he did a great job, especially when you look at the fact he's been with us for only three weeks. I think we go back there on September 1st. This weekend we have a couple of private parties. Should be lots of fun....

Back to work tomorrow... Ugh... But thank God I have a job.
